Project Abandonment Clause
We at wanted Logic Media Group like to work extremely fast and get the project done as soon as possible. If you do not provide us with information to help progress your project for more than two weeks your project will be considered abandoned and therefore completed. Once a project has been completed we cannot continue to work on your project without you repurchasing the desired website design package. If a client decides to drag out a project for an extended period of time we reserve the right to add additional fees or mark the project as completed.
Project Details Clause
When providing us with details for your project we require that you think out and put your ideas into extreme detail on paper/email. We do not want clients to provide us with a mishmash of information that we have to decrypt. Please think about what exactly you want in your project before sending us any information. If we determine that the information you are providing is too cryptic or difficult to understand in any way we can decide to stop working on your project. We also require clients to send information via email in a detailed well-organized format. We do not accept information on any other platform such as Facebook or any other messaging service.
Web Design Refund Policy
Due to the nature of the web design product, we will not be able to provide you with a refund once we have started the design process of your website.
Web Hosting Refund Policy
Due to the nature of how we allocate resources for web hosting, you must contact us within 24 hours in order to receive a refund. This includes renewals of existing hosting accounts. After that 24-hour window has lapsed a refund will no longer be possible. Websites that require special hosting to be set up for them are not able to request a refund after the order has been made.
Price Increase Policy
We do everything in our power to keep costs low for our customers. However, in some cases, costs of software or hardware that is required to host your site may in increase, therefore causing prices to increase.
Content Creep Policy
We have a strict no content creep policy. What is content creep? Content creep is when someone requests additional work to be done without providing payment for the additional work that is being performed. If a client requires more work to be done, payment must first be made. If WLMG considers someones request to be content creep, we will require payment before proceeding.
Late Fee Policy
We reserve the right to add late fees to any service we provide if a client is late paying for their services.
We use only the most popular browser(s) at the time of a websites creation. We do not guarantee that your website will look exactly the same on all web browsers. We do our best to make sure your site looks good regardless of device or browser. We do not support Internet Explorer at all.
Site Resources Policy
If your site starts to outgrow the resources we have allocated to it we will contact you. You may be required to upgrade your package or make changes to your website so they do not exceed the allocated resources.
Any content that violates any sort of law will be reported to the proper authorities.
Spam of any sort will not be tolerated on any of our services. Content that is considered thin can also be considered spam
Sexual content on sites is not allowed. Boudoir photography is permitted, however.
Promoting, using or linking to drugs or alcohol is not permitted.
Piracy & Illegal Content
No illegal content or promotion of illegal content is permitted.
Violence & Weapons
Content showing or promoting violence is not permitted. Linking to a site that sells firearms are also not permitted. Video games excluded.
Hate & Bullying
Content that promotes hate against a person or group of people is not permitted.
File Downloads / Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products, it’s impossible to prevent fraud and still offer refunds. Customer satisfaction is our goal, and we will do our best to solve any issues you have.
When purchasing a digital download product, you understand that you will be able to download the items only a limited amount of times. If you download the file and you get an error or lose your file, you can contact us with your receipt/order number and we will allow you to download the file again. However, we can only allow you to download the file one additional time so please be sure to back up your files.
Data Deletion Policy
We reserve the right to shut off your website and delete your data if you are found in violation of any of our rules. Any violation of our rules voids your ability for refunds.
On-Going Design Service Policy
Customers that wish to keep us on a retainer like bases can opt in for a paid Ongoing Design Service. The Ongoing Design Service Is a monthly fee and allows users to send us a small list of items they may need to be changed on their website. This service is not designed for full site redesigns. Due to the nature of the service, refunds of any kind are not possible. Future Billings can be canceled, however.
Email Support Policy
We do not provide support for email addresses of any kind. We can provide a client with a website email address such as firstname.lastname@example.org, however, once that is set up we will no longer provide support on configuring it with any sort of third-party service or anything like that. The email service
Any client that is found disrespecting any staff member of Wanted Logic Media Group will have all of their services terminated and refunds of any kind will not be possible.
Website Maintenence Services
We will sign into your site on a regular basis and make sure all of your plugins and themes are up to date and working properly. We also make sure your website database and files are optimized so your site runs super fast. We will also let you know if there are any major updates on the horizon that you should be prepared for just in case it affects your workflow.
Please note that if a plugin or theme update breaks your site we will help you fix it to the best of our ability. However, seeing how we do not design the plugins that are on your site, we can only guarantee to help to the best of our knowledge.
Search Engine Optimization Services
We have spent many years studying how search engine optimization works. We use all kinds of techniques in order to push our websites and clients websites to their desired ranking. SEO is a very complex thing. We try to keep our SEO Services as affordable as possible. That said if a client does not have the time to promote their business alongside the changes we make, then they should consider contacting us for a custom SEO service. SEO is not a plug and play sort of thing.
We are more than happy to manage your domain names for you. We will be sure to let you know when your domain is set to expire. We will not pay for your domain in order to keep it from lapsing unless written and signed pre-arranged agreements have been made.
Domain Ownership Transfer
If we have purchased your domain for you and we maintain it through our registrar and you wish to have ownership of the domain transferred to you/another service, you will be subject to administrative fees.
We use some third party software to create websites for our clients which requires an API key. If a client does not use one of our on going services such as our web hosting, we will automatically remove their API key access after one year. A valid API key is required to update certain pieces of the software. We offer the ability to renew their API key if needed. Contact our staff for more info.
Site Repossession Policy
We reserve the right to shut off your website/repossess your website if you have not paid for our services.
We want everyone’s website to be successful and be top notch. Due to the nature of how we run websites, you understand that some issues that may arise are out of our control. By agreeing to this Terms Of Service, you void your ability to request refunds or credits due to issues out of our control.
Terms Of Service Updates
We reserve the right to update our terms of service at any time without notification. It is a client’s responsibility to check up on our terms of service on a regular basis. On some rare occasions, we will notify clients of terms of service changes.
